Which methods of payment do you accept? Last Digital accepts Visa, MasterCard, Switch, Solo, PayPal, Bank tranfers and cheques (UK only).
Will you help move our domain and site to your servers? Last Digital can assist you with the transfer of your site. For rates and more information, please contact sales. For more information on domain transfers, visit this section.
Are domain registration/renewal fees included in your hosting fees? Domain name registration or renewal fees are NOT included with our hosting fees. We do offer domain name registration for customers needing those services. For pricing visit our domain name section.
Think of hosting as renting a home and your domain name as your phone number. Both are separate from each other and are normally billed separately. Should you move to a new home (hosting provider) your phone number (domain name) can be transferred.
Do you host adult-oriented web sites? The simple answer is no. Last Digital reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service for any client that it considers unsuitable, undesirable, or otherwise unacceptable, pursuant to our service contract and policies. At the present time, this includes most adult-content sites.
Do you offer "unlimited bandwidth"? The simple answer is no. The reason is because we offer quality hosting to all of our customers.
Any provider who claims to offer unlimited anything either has no concern for the performance of their network and servers, or is being dishonest to their customers about how much resources they actually can use.
How long does it take to set up a new account? We will have your account up within 12-24 hours. We begin processing your account the same business day it is received, or the next business day if it is after hours. Once your account is activated, you will receive an e-mail from Last Digital with your account information. We cannot activate the account until payment is received or funds are cleared (Paypal, cheques, etc).
Which should I choose, Linux or Windows? Many customers ask this question. Our Linux vs. Windows discusses the advantages/disadvantages of each platform.
